The City of Richmond and ServiceWorks are excited to bring a Skill-Building Bootcamp to young adults (ages 16-24) on Saturday, April 7th from 9am - 4pm.
This energetic and interactive experience includes workshops on important life and leadership skills, provides an introduction to how service can be a pathway to college and career, and shows you how to be change agents in your communities.
Workshop topics include:
Communication and Networking
In conjunction with local organizations (TBA), participants will learn about important college and career readiness skills, develop an awareness of financial aid resources and participate in a service project benefitting young scholars seeking to broaden their college and career options. It’s a great way to earn volunteer/community service hours if you need them! A free light breakfast and lunch will also be served and the chance to win some DOOR PRIZES!
