City of Richmond Information

Due to the COVID-19 virus, there is a Regional Stay at Home order which includes the City of Richmond. City of Richmond personnel are working to maintain essential services, monitoring and adapting to the Contra Costa Health Officer’s orders, and provide updated information to the public and employees.

With the safety of city employees and the Richmond community at the forefront, we are actively working to develop the plans and protocols related to the reopening of city facilities and programming, when it is safe to do so.

In the meantime, essential services such as Police, Fire, and Public Works are operational. Many other services may be handled by city staff remotely, so we appreciate your understanding that responses may be somewhat delayed. For information on how to contact staff in a particular department, please visit their webpage.
