Interim Online Notice of Termination of Tenancy


Purpose: Landlords are required to file a copy of all tenancy termination notices with the Rent Board BEFORE serving the tenant the notice (RMC 11.100.060(s)(1)). Please complete and submit the following form to file a copy of the notice to terminate tenancy with the Rent Board.

INTERIM ONLINE NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF TENANCY

Interim Notice of Termination of Tenancy Due to Owner Move-In

Purpose: The attached notices may be used by a Landlord seeking to terminate tenancy pursuant to RMC 11.100.050(a)(6) (Owner Move-In). Landlords may use their own notices as long as they provide all of the information found on these templates.

INTERIM NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF TENANCY DUE TO OWNER MOVE-IN

Interim Notice of Order to Vacate in Order to Undertake Substantial Repairs

Purpose: This form may be used by a Landlord seeking to temporarily terminate tenancy pursuant to RMC 11.100.050(a)(5) in order to undertake substantial repairs. Landlords may use their own form as long as they provide all the required information found on this template.

INTERIM NOTICE OF ORDER TO VACATE IN ORDER TO UNDERTAKE SUBSTANTIAL REPAIRS

Interim Notice of Termination of Tenancy Due to Withdrawal from the Rental Market

Purpose: This form may be used by a Landlord seeking to terminate tenancy pursuant to RMC 11.100.050(a)(7) (Withdrawal from the Rental Market). Landlords may use their own form as long as they provide all of the information found on this template.

Interim Notice of Tenant at Fault

Purpose: This form may be used by a Landlord seeking to terminate tenancy pursuant to RMC 11.100.050(a)(1) (Failure to Pay Rent), RMC 11.100.050(a)(2) (Breach of Lease), RMC 11.100.050(a)(3) (Nuisance) or RMC 11.100.050(a)(4) (Failure to Give Access). Landlords may use their own form as long as they provide all of the information found on this template.


INTERIM NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF TENANCY (TENANT AT FAULT)



NOTE: If the Landlord seeks to terminate tenancy for Breach of Lease (RMC 11.100.050(a)(2), Nuisance (RMC 11.100.050(a)(3), or Failure to Give Access (RMC 11.100.050(a)(4), a written warning notice must be served by the Landlord within a reasonable period prior to serving a notice to terminate tenancy.
